SAFE (Yakin, 2012) - By far the most enjoyable Jason-Statham-punching-people pic in years, which admittedly is not setting the bar very high. Dude even gets to act, a little, and pulls it off reasonably well. The set-up takes a fairly long time despite the elliptical editing in the beginning, but it’s worth the wait when the Statham finally gets unleashed. He’s almost single-handedly keeping the B-action-movie genre alive at this point, and I for one am grateful.
