HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS (Jones/Washam, 1966) - In the spirit of Christmas, the BF and I watched two Christmas specials (look for the other one two posts from now). I really loved this one - Seuss’ text is the best thing about it, but the animation for the Grinch is wonderfully creepy, as are the illustrations of all the toys. The turn-around at the end is a bit abrupt - but I guess that’s par for the course in a Christmas special.
